The Johannesburg Area Holds Over Half of South Africa's Map
Of every hundred creators who put a location on South Africa's map, 53 are in the Johannesburg area. Nothing else on the map approaches that figure. Cape Town follows on 29 percent and Durban on 10. The rest of the 24 mapped places divide a thin remainder between them.
Gauteng tops the regional table on the strength of that one cluster. For a reader in Johannesburg or Pretoria, a hunt for OnlyFans models near me turns up mostly people from their own province in the opening rows of the list. North of Gauteng the count falls away. The Rustenburg area, 425 km out from the midpoint, has about 1 percent, and Polokwane in Limpopo, 711 km out, sits below 1 percent.
Cape Town Sits 1,260 km From Johannesburg
Second place belongs to Cape Town, which is also the loneliest of the big clusters. Its 29 percent carries the Western Cape into second among the regions, but the nearest larger cluster, Johannesburg, lies roughly 1,260 km away. From the starting point near Petrusburg, Cape Town is 840 km off, further than any other of the top eight.
Durban holds 10 percent and lifts KwaZulu-Natal to third. The coastal city is 501 km from Johannesburg and 1,270 km from Cape Town, so its creators sit far closer to Gauteng than to the Cape. Port Elizabeth, with 3 percent, falls between the two coasts, 663 km from Cape Town and 685 km from Durban. George, on the southern shore, has about 1 percent.
Bloemfontein and the Petrusburg Midpoint, 103 km Apart
Until a reader's position is known, the list ranks creators outward from a point in the centre of South Africa, some 27 km outside Petrusburg. From there, Johannesburg lies 422 km off, Pretoria 470 km and Durban 576 km.
Bloemfontein sits closer to that point than any other cluster, just 103 km away, and holds about 1 percent. It is also within reach of the larger areas: 371 km to Johannesburg, 473 km to Durban and 541 km to Port Elizabeth. Below the top three regions come Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and Limpopo, in that order.
Where South Africa's Creators Live, From Gauteng to the Western Cape
Johannesburg is first by a long way. Once nearby towns are merged in, that area carries 53 percent of mapped creators, about double Cape Town's 29 and over five times Durban's 10. Gauteng heads the regions because of it. Measured from the Petrusburg midpoint, the Johannesburg area is roughly 422 km away.
Roughly 1,260 km separates the two largest clusters. No bigger cluster sits nearer to Cape Town, so it stands further from its closest larger neighbour than any other main area. Durban is slightly further from the Cape, around 1,270 km. Port Elizabeth is much closer at 663 km, though its share of the map is a modest 3 percent.
Both provinces have some. Eastern Cape ranks fifth of the six regions. Its main cluster, Port Elizabeth, holds 3 percent at a distance of 552 km from the midpoint. Limpopo comes sixth. Its Polokwane area, 711 km out, has below 1 percent, while Thohoyandou in the far north appears as a cluster of its own.
For Lagos, it is Mafikeng, roughly 4,330 km away. For Dubai, Thohoyandou is the closest at about 5,980 km. Thohoyandou also comes first for Cairo, about 5,890 km off, and for Tel Aviv, about 6,140 km. Every one of these gaps runs into thousands of kilometres, so South Africa's creators are a long way from all four cities.
